By Juan C. Ayllon This past April, my wife, Belle, and I attended Audio Expo North America (AXPONA) and one unexpected benefit was that our listening/media room ended up getting a makeover (click here for more details). This is no small feat: getting my wife to move her beloved media center armoire from the man cave to another room was huge and immediately impactful on the sound in the space, which is now less congested. Moreover, it now sports a cleaner, sleeker look that Belle and I were looking to get. It is a work in progress. Moreover, the Von Schweikert VR-5 HSE speakers, which have been a mainstay for the last several years, are now sold. In their place, I am auditioning a pair of Usher Mini Dancer Two DMD speakers (which sound fantastic as they are burning in) and will be auditioning several others, as well before making a final determination of the VR-5's successors. It's an exciting time, but as if that wasn't enough, wait, there's more! A very good friend in the industry has told me numerous times that the site's name, Prairie Audio Man Cave, really isn't very good. Belle seconds that opinion. So, now, I am brainstorming and vetting a long list of potential names. We will see where it goes and, as soon as a decision is made, I will announce it on these pages.
I am excited!

Hi, I own a pair of the Usher Mini Dancer DMD series speakers. They are great and I have owned them for four / five years now.

It sounds like your man cave is undergoing an exciting transformation! Moving the media center armoire and exploring new speakers have already made a noticeable difference in the space. It's great that you and Belle are working together to create a cleaner and sleeker look that you both desire. Choosing a new name for the site adds another layer of anticipation. I look forward to hearing about the final decision and seeing the continued progress of your revamped man cave. Best of luck!
