By Juan C. Ayllon CHICAGOLAND -- In several days, the brand new Usher T-10 speakers will be fast-tracked to a review held at the Prairie Audio Man Cave following its showing at the Chicago Audio Society this Sunday at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum (click here for more details). Retailing at $22,000, what sets the TD-10 apart is that it employs their diamond technology not only in its DMD tweeters, but also in its midrange drivers, for a more resolving and musical experience 385 Hz on up. Previously, to access diamond technology in midranges, you'd have to spend more than double that price!
The dynamic 11” German Eton woofer covers 385Hz and below. This is exciting for us because so far, our experience with their SD-500 monitors and the Mini Dancer Two DMD speakers (which we use in our reference system), has shown that their speakers are a great value for the money. Stay tuned for our review!
