Huge UK Signings -- Mark Godbeer & Tyler Goodjohn Press Release PHILADELPHIA, PA, September 4, 2020 -- Heading into the Labor Day Weekend, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Sport, rolled out a series of major announcements for international combat sports fans today. For the highly anticipated BKFC-12 event on Friday, September 11 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, former UFC Superstar Julius “Nitrane” Lane will now battle former UFC Middleweight Title Challenger, Thiago “Pitbull” Alves in the main event. Lane replaces the previously announced Phil Baroni. In the co-main event at BKFC-12, former Bellator Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard returns to the squared circle to clash with The Ultimate Fighter 3 Champion, Kendall Grove. Also featured on the card is a 185lb. fight between Lorenzo Hunt and Erick Lozano. In partnership with the Travis Manion Foundation, BKFC-12 will serve as a tribute on the 19th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks with a commemoration of military, veterans, police, firefighters, first responders and the families of our fallen heroes throughout the evening BKFC also continues its remarkable run of signing exciting combat sport fighters from around the world. Joining the BKFC Team this week are two of the best from the United Kingdom, heavyweight Mark ‘The Hand of’ Godbeer and Tyler ‘The Tornado’ Goodjohn. Standing 6’4”, the heavy-handed Godbeer was the Heavyweight Tournament Winner of the acclaimed Valor Bare Knuckle 1 event in September 2019. His professional record is 16-5 with eleven victories coming by knockout. The 29-year-old Goodjohn is a former professional boxer with a record of 13-5 who has fought twice in bareknuckle events, victorious both times over the last two years. The popular Goodjohn, also an adult film star, has a huge social media following in the UK which he will bring to BKFC.
